Given my fringe favourite of 2025 was Sad Gay AIDS Play I was excited to see this new offering by Andrew Doherty (albeit slightly trepidatious given my reviewer status). The premise of the show is that it serves as a comedy horror act of vengeance against a three star review. The pathetic, lonely titular reviewer and nepo baby Felix Chatelier is tasked with reviewing the theatre festival in a town called Billington. There he encounters many strange happenings and ultimately must confront Andrew Doherty himself, the subject of a three star review written by Felix himself. This show delivers oodles of camp and silliness and fun.
