The festival used to be full of shows like this: bizarre concepts executed with complete conviction which somehow wouldn’t exist outside of an arts festival.

Liam Duffy hosts a quiz about pickles.  And that is exactly what you get.  Each night will be dependent on the nature of the volunteers and the mood of the crowd.  The tasting of the vinegars and the various cornichons, pickles and gerkins are sandwiched between pickle trivia, which expands the audience’s knowledge of the world of pickles.

For a late night show this hits and delivers in direct and effectively silly ways.
