A fantastically funny foray into the mind of a self-doubting underfunded artist, Olivia McLeod’s razor sharp script not only leaps off the page but she also smacks you in the face many a time with it and her intensely engaging and alluring whip-smart performance.

This meta-fringe solo show exudes originality and avoids the trappings of being pretentious with such a subject. The pacing is exemplary as her protagonist navigates the audience through moments of her life and the people in it. The humour and detailing in every scene is superb. And while it’s whacky and zany and borderline batshit crazy in places (all Fringe performers probably teeter on the edge of insanity!), it’s grounded with a realism that all actors – and anyone in the arts – will relate to. Unrepresented ranks right alongside her previous solo play Junk Monkey — which was one of the best shows I’ve seen in recent years.
