Last year was the best year of Susie McCabe’s life. She got married and honeymooned at the Balmoral –quite an experience for this working class comic. Highlights include overdressing and confusion about the purpose of turndown service. Class and Scottishness are central themes to the show. Is there another country in the world where your friends would give you an intervention for deciding not to drink on one night out? Susie herself is compassionate, warm and an expert storyteller that will keep you laughing from start to finish. Her poem at the end of the show demonstrates her politics of hope and acts as a call to action for us all. It’s a show that gives you lots of laughs and inspiration!
